The Baltimore School of the Bible’s Annual Norman Cannon Missions Conference is held in during the spring semester each year.  It brings together all students from the different branches and classes for two evening programs that focus on the proclamation of the Gospel through missions, in Baltimore, in Maryland, in America, and throughout the world.  The conference is named for Norman Cannon, who served the Lord while serving the School for more than 30 years, as a teacher, board member, secretary and then as its president.

The conference presents the inspiring stories of missionaries at work both far and near.  It also renews the Biblical call and Scriptural instruction for churches to the proclaiming the Gospel.

The mission statement from Jesus is that we are to be making disciples (Matthew 28: 19).  This is not the job of missionaries, or the clergy, or evangelists – this is the job of churches.  The Missions Conference encourages us in that unified purpose and highlights the role of the Baltimore School of the Bible, as we join in taking the Gospel to the world.
