There is a difference between “ethics” and “morals.” Ethics do not change. Morals reflect the changing whims of culture. For the Christian, ethics must be rooted in the absolutes revealed in God’s Word to inform and nurture our moral conduct. In the postmodern era, Christians must learn to think biblically and identify how we relate to culture. This book explores a synthesis, viewed through the lens of Scripture, to formulate a strategy for today.

The Bride of Christ

From Adam and Eve in Genesis to the wedding supper of the Lamb in Revelation, the Bible uses the metaphor of marriage to explain who God is, who we are as male and female, the meaning of life, the reason He created us, and how we are to live. This class will help us understand marriage, singleness, our bodies, gender identities, and sexual morality. We will study the Old Testament book, Song of Songs, to further help us understand marital love as it was designed by God to image His love for us.
